(August 2009) A new event at this years
Swiss Wine Festival will be the Media Celebrity Grape Stomp, to benefit
charity.
This wild event is scheduled for noon Saturday, Aug. 29, during the
38th annual Swiss Wine Festival at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park in downtown
Vevay, Ind.
On-air TV and radio personalities, newspaper reporters, columnists and
freelance writers from the local area and including Cincinnati, Indianapolis
and Louisville will be given the opportunity to not only receive a foots-on
history lesson on wine making in The Birthplace of the First Successful
Commercial Winery in America but go toe-to-toe for the opportunity
to win prize money for their favorite charity.
The top three celebrities will earn $1,000 for their favorite charity,
with $500 for second place and third place at $250.

Elizabeth J. Musgrave a Travel, Arts & Entertainment reporter from
the West Side Community News in Indianapolis.
